The first kinetic sculpture I made. It was an attempt to create an authentic animation – not to hide behind the magic of film and the gaps between frames. I made it in response to the rejection of condom use by the church. The basis of which seems to be an attempt at moral blackmail that results in death, disease and unwanted pregnancy. What does the church want to achieve in this? Though it is not the only reason I do believe that there is a rejection of technology in this. The condom, that thin but strong layer of latex is a technology that stands against the Will of God in conception.
